ENROLLMENT

Learn more about the Enrollment Process

There are three steps to complete enrollment at AXL Academy. Follow the below guide and let us know if you have questions. 

Complete Online Application Form

To begin the process, please fill out online application form. If you need assistance, please visit the main office.

Lottery/Available Space Notification

Every Spring, AXL has a public lottery to place new students. You will be notified after the lottery of your child's placement or waitlist status.

If you are enrolling and the lottery has passed, the school will notify you of your child's placement or waitlist status.

Registration Forms

Once accepted via lottery or from the waitlist, you will be emailed a link to register. This registration form will also ask to upload documents required from all schools to finalize the registration.  

Pre- Kindergarten Notes for 2023-2024 Enrollment
 Families should:
1.  Log in and submit an application to the UPK website  for your qualified child. Please include us along your priorities of school, session, IEP, preference due to siblings in school already, etc.
2.  Click the blue button above to submit an internal application for 2023-2024 (note: this application won't secure a UPK spot for a child yet) 
3. The Pre-K Director will contact you to follow up with any updates/questions when the application has been processed.
4. Within a couple of weeks you should receive your UPK qualifying response from the state. 
 
The curriculum is challenging, but not the enrollment process. AXL is a PK-8 Charter Public School located in Aurora. We accept all students on a space-available basis and do not charge tuition for K-8. The steps to enroll your scholar to PK-8 are below.

Enrollment in charter schools is available to all students, including students with disabilities, and information about disabilities will not be requested until a student has been admitted and enrolled in a charter school.
